Paul Surowiak – Artist

PaulPaul Surowiak received his B. M. in Percussion Performance from Indiana University, where he studied with Gerald Carlyss, Principle Timpanist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and William Roberts, Principal Percussionist of the Denver Symphony. Upon graduating, Mr. Surowiak studied with Kenny Aronoff and Steve Davis. While at I. U., he performed with Dominic Spera’s Jazz Ensemble, The Philharmonic Orchestra, The Wind Ensemble, and The New Music Ensemble. Mr. Surowiak has also performed with various local and regional artists including Tad Robinson, Marcos Cavalcante, The Chosen Few, The Guy Lombardo Orchestra with Al Pierson, Rusty Bladen, and Terry Hayes, and has been involved with the music program at Mount Pleasant Christian Church since 2008.
